If you select expedited delivery, please note that orders placed between Sunday and Thursday are processed the following day (Holidays Excluded). Orders must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST to qualify for expedited shipping. 

Orders placed on a Friday or Saturday are processed the following Monday. (Holidays Excluded). 

Oversized items are not eligible for expedited shipping.

Shopping FAQ

Do you ship surfboards?

Yes! 

All surfboards are shipped via Air Freight. Processing and delivery times may vary due to the extra handling involved in shipping a surfboard. Most orders are shipped within four to five business days; delivery usually occurs within 7-10 business days after shipping. However, delivery to certain locations may take longer. Surfboards are incredibly fragile and require special handling. Air Freight shipments should be inspected for damage upon delivery and before the shipment is signed for. If damage is noted, please call 1 888 757 8737 within 24 hours. A customer service representative will contact you to review the shipment process before shipping your order.

Surfboards are fragile, and surf brand boards have no manufacturer or Ron Jon Surf Shop warranty. Ron Jon brand surfboards have a 90-day conditional warranty, but after that time, there is no applicable warranty, either expressed or implied. It may be returned if this board is in the original condition along with the original receipt. Any board showing signs of use or damage will not be accepted for return or exchange. Upon receipt of your new surfboard, immediately inspect the board for damage and report any imperfections within 24 hours.  

Please note: We do not ship surfboards Internationally, to Alaska, Hawaii, or freight forwarding companies. Customers who refuse their order will not be refunded the original shipping fee.

I bought an item in one of your stores and don't live near by. How do I return it?

Customers must retain their original receipt for exchanges and returns on new, unused items returned within 90 days of the original purchase. Gift cards are non-returnable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Customers returning merchandise without an original sales receipt are only entitled to an exchange. 

If you cannot go back to the store where your original purchase was made please contact the store directly using the telephone contact information listed at the bottom of your sales receipt, or email a brief note to [email protected] explaining the problem with your purchase (wrong color, wrong size, damaged, didn't like) and include whether you are seeking a refund or an exchange. Be sure to have the order number listed on the bottom of your receipt and tell us which store the purchase was made. If seeking an exchange, there may be a small charge for return postage.

The item I saw in one of your stores isn't available on your website, how can I purchase it?

Please call the store directly or email [email protected] with a description of the item. Don't forget to tell us which store you saw the item in so that we can direct your email to the appropriate location.

My product arrived and is damaged or defective. What do I do?

If the item you received is damaged or you received the wrong product in your package, please call 1 888-757-8737 or email us at [email protected] as soon as possible so that we can assist you.

 

How long will it take for my exchange or refund to be processed?

Please allow 10-14 days for processing of your refund or exchange. Once processed, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address you provided in the original order. 

For exchanges, we waive the standard ground shipping charge on the replacement item if shipping within the continental U.S.A. 

If a discount was applied, you will receive a refund based on the price paid rather than the original value of your returned item.

Why isn't the color of the item I purchased the same as it appears online?

Item color representations on your desktop, laptop, smartphone, or electronic device may appear slightly different as the result of studio lighting, variance in monitor calibrations, or the type of device used to view them.

Ron Jon Surf Shop's policy regarding links from this site requires that a letter of the request be submitted to Ron Jon's Internet Services department at [email protected] or faxed to 1 321 868 0052. Ron Jon will evaluate each site based on its merits and according to a set of image standards that are associated with our brand and expected by our customers. You will then receive an e-mail only if we approve your request for a link.

Athlete/Event Sponsorship -
Parties looking for sponsorship for individual athlete sponsorship or support as a Ron Jon Team Rider (surf/skate/stand up paddle) should send an athlete resume and sponsorship proposal to [email protected].

How can I get a donation for my organization or event?

Donations & Charitable Sponsorships Ron Jon Surf Shop supports our local communities in a variety of ways. We focus our charitable efforts on education, youth initiatives, community upkeep and wellness, beach cleanliness and in supporting the animals that enrich our lives.

Ron Jon Surf Shop also seeks to support and strengthen the local communities in which our stores are located and where our team members work and live. Ron Jon considers charitable donation and sponsorship requests from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that match our social responsibility strategy as noted in the following contribution priorities.

Contribution Priorities
Education/Kids
Educational and youth initiatives to enrich children’s lives, which may include programs for public school foundations, scholarships, back-to-school supply drives, water safety, and children’s hunger projects.

Environmental and Beach Safety
Programs that keep our beaches clean, beach safety, and promote environmental awareness to protect our oceans and beaches. Examples include Keep Brevard Beautiful, lifeguard support, and beach preservation and conservation.

Community Impact Organizations
Local organizations that have a daily impact on the lives of residents near our stores. Examples include business leagues, first responders, food banks, humane societies, and natural disaster recovery.

Exclusions
Ron Jon Surf will not contribute to:

  • requests that do not match our contribution focus noted above
  • requests that are not in the local community (geographic area) as our store locations
  • for-profit programs
  • political groups
  • sports teams (except for surf/skate/beach noted above)
  • individuals or fundraisers for individuals
  • charter or private schools
  • capital campaigns
  • requests to generally fund an organization that does not benefit a specific program

Is Cocoa Beach the original location?

Contrary to popular belief, our Cocoa Beach location is not the original Ron Jon location. Actually, Ron Jon Surf Shop started back in 1959 in the small beachside community of Ship Bottom, New Jersey located on Long Beach Island. Ron Jon Surf Shop "The Original” has evolved from a tiny storefront to the beautiful 4-level surfer’s dream store that it is today.

 

Does Ron Jon Surf Shop provide surf lessons?

Ron Jon recommends our partners at the Ron Jon Surf School for surfing lessons. Contact the Ron Jon Surf School directly at (321) 868-1980 or go to www.ronjonsurfschool.com. You can also visit or call the Ron Jon Surf Shop Location nearest you for more information.

Does Ron Jon offer store franchises or licensing?

Currently, Ron Jon Surf Shop does not offer franchises of any kind because we prefer to own and operate our own facilities. As for licensing, Ron Jon has granted a limited number of licenses to unique companies or operators that meet Ron Jon's high standards. All inquires or proposals should be directed to the Ron Jon Expansion department by E-mail at [email protected] or phone at (321) 799-8888.

What can I write in a product review?

We now offer our guests the opportunity to share their comments about the products they purchase by submitting a review online. No personal information is requested.

After selecting the number of stars and your level of satisfaction here are some tips for filling in the comment section:
 

  • Base your review on your experience of the product, its features, performance and fit etc.
  • Explain what you liked or disliked and why.
  • Only review products you have owned, used or tried on.
  • Do not use all CAPITAL LETTERS.
  • Try to focus on information you think would help others to decide whether or not to purchase the product.
  • Refrain from using profanity.
